Hp Deskjet Plus 4155 Not Printing

Why is HP DeskJet Plus 4155 not printing? Even if you haven’t installed the ink cartridge correctly, HP DeskJet Plus 4155 will not print. And there are other reasons too. If you wish to fix the printing issue, implement the solutions given in this article. After executing every solution, check if the printer can print. This way of doing it helps identify the cause of the problem.

In general, the printer may not print due to the following reasons:

  • Check if your wireless connection is working if connected over a network
  • If you have installed an incompatible printer driver
  • If you haven’t loaded paper
  • If the cartridges aren’t loaded correctly or not installed
  • In case your printer is paused or offline
  • The Print Spooler service may be stopped

The above are the common causes that can prevent your printer from printing.

Before we get into troubleshooting, let’s do a basic check.

  • Make sure your HP printer is turned on.
  • Check the input tray to make sure you have loaded printer-supported paper.
  • Verify that you have installed the original HP cartridges.
  • Make sure you have installed the correct HP printer driver. (Recommended to download from the official HP site or use the CD-ROM supplied with the printer package).

  • Look into your control panel to find any error message. If your printer is warning you of something, follow the on-screen instructions to resolve it.
  • If you have connected your printer wirelessly to your computer or device, check if the connection is working correctly.
  • Make sure your HP printer is not paused or offline.

  • If the above solution doesn’t work, restart the Print Spooler service. If you are a Windows 10 user, execute the below instructions to restart the Print Spooler.
  • Go to the Start window and open Windows Administrative tools.
  • Under the General tab, check for the following.
  • Verify that the Startup type is set as Automatic.
