How to use Epson scanner
The Epson scanner can be used to scan documents, images in which the documents are scanned by using the PDF format and the images are scanned by using the JPEG format. Set up the scanning software and the printer scans successfully and know how to use epson scanner.
Scanning with Epson scanner
- Select Reflective under the Document Type pull down menu while scanning an image.
- Click Document under the Auto Exposure Type pull down menu.
- Choose 24-bit color for a color scan under the Image Type pull down menu and 8-bit Grayscale for black and white.
- Select your resolution which determines the quality of the scan.
- Choose Preview and it gives a picture in the scanner.
- Select Scan.
- Choose your Location under the Save Settings window.
- Click OK and your photograph will be scanned successfully.
Epson Scanner Scanning
Lift the scanner cover and ensure that the scanner box is free of dust and smudges. Keep your document or image face down aligned with the top left corner of the glass and to top right corner of the glass for the Expression Scanners and Perfection scanners respectively and get how to use epson scanner.
Bring the cover down as far as possible so that your document or image remains flat on the glass. For the Expression and Perfection scanners you can remove the cover by gently raising upwards until the metal rods at the back side are lifted out of their holds. Choose Scan and under the Image format type, select How you want to save your file and click where you want to save your file under Location in the File Save Settings window.
Ensure that the Show Add Page dialog after scanning button is checked and select OK and the document gets scanned. In the Add Page dialog box that pops up, select whether you have to Add a page, Edit it or Save your file to use epson scanner.
Click Add a page if you have multiple pages you need to add to the same PDF document. You can insert the next pages into the scanner when the preview window appears. There is no need to go to the preview again if it is the same size as the first page.
Just locate the page on the scanner box and select Scan and when all the pages have been added, save the file. Select Save when you have no other pages to scan and your folder will save to the location you mentioned in the File Save Settings and successfully complete on how to use epson scanner.
