CANON D570 NOT PRINTING

Canon imageCLASS D570 is a 3-in-1 functionality printer that allows you to print, scan, and copy. You can easily connect your mobile device without a router by using Wi-Fi Direct. It has two-side printing technology with a good print speed of 28 pages per minute. Canon imageCLASS D570 comes with a 5-Line LCD panel, which is easy to operate. Sometimes your printer does not print, which could restrict you from performing any task. Here are some of the methods to fix the printer not printing problem.

Canon D570 Not Printing

Check the connection and reset your printer:

  • Check whether the power cord is perfectly connected to the printer.
  • Check the light bar. The light indicates the printer is receiving electrical power.
  • Press the Power button to switch on the printer.
  • Turn OFF the Power button.
  • Remove the power cord from the electrical wall outlet.
  • Wait for 15 minutes and plug it back into the wall outlet.
  • Turn ON the Power button.
  • Check for an error message on the printer display.

Check and Replace the Toner cartridge:

  • Turn off the printer and lift the scanner unit.
  • Open the toner cover and pull the toner cartridge entirely out of the printer.
  • Shake the toner cartridge and check whether the ink is available inside the toner.
  • If the ink inside the toner is less or empty, replace the new toner cartridge.
  • To replace the toner, take out the orange clip and tape from the nozzle and shake it well to spread the ink all over the toner.
  • Fix the toner cartridge into its place and close the toner cover.
  • Close the scanner unit and turn on the printer.

Set as default printer:

  • On your computer, click the Start icon.
  • You need to type Control Panel in the search bar and click on it.
  • Click Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click On your Canon D570 printer.
  • Select Set as default printer.

Install the new update:

  • Press Windows + I on your keyboard.
  • Locate the Update and Security section.
  • Click on Check for updates.

Restarting the print spooler service:

  • Press Windows key + R on your keyboard.
  • Type services. msc and click OK.
  • Locate the print spooler and click restart.

Changing the printer properties:

  • On your computer, click Windows Start.
  • Now, you need to type Control Panel in the search bar and click on it.
  • Click Devices and Printers and right-click on your Canon D570 printer.
  • Select See what’s printing and choose Printer Properties from the list.
  • Click on the Port tab and select IP Address from the list.
  • Enable the SNMP status and click OK.

Disable the Use Printer Offline option:

  • On your computer, click Windows Start.
  • Now, just type Control Panel in the search bar and click on it.
  • Click Devices and Printers and right-click on your Canon D570 printer.
  • Select See what’s printing and check whether the Use Printer Offline option is enabled.
  • If so, disable it.

Configure the correct printer port:

  • Press Windows key + R on your keyboard, the Run box will appear.
  • Next, type Control Panel and click OK.
  • All Control Panel item tabs will open.
  • Under View by, select Large icons.
  • Click on the Devices and Printers option.
  • Right-click on your Canon D570 printer –> Printer Properties.
  • Click on the Change properties option.
  • Now, click on the Port tab and check the port that contains the name of your printer.
  • Click Apply –> General tab –> Print Test Page.

Cancel all documents:

  • On your computer, click Windows Start.
  • Now, type Control Panel and click on it.
  • Click on the Devices and Printers option.
  • Right-click on your Canon D570 printer and select See what’s printing.
  • Now, Select Cancel all documents.
